I love writing. I love writing poems, and jotting down a quick 1-2 liners that I think might be profound or quirky. I have a 1,000 things that I’ve written, and 1,000,000 things I meant to write. I have various sketches, skits and bits in my head that I’d love to put in ink but it seems I never find a second. I have ideas for an album or 2 that I write for but don’t make time for. I fantasize about sitting at the typewriter real old-school like with a cup of coffee and a pack of those old fashioned cigarettes we smoked in the early 21st century and justâ
Punch keys black and blue
and when that was through,
or when the ink ran dried up, I’d write the rest
I’d fight the rest and write what’s next!
I even have a movie in development in my head, but not so much a movie, more like a script.
I’m setting the scene with every sunrise and sunset.
With every emotion felt and every experience remembered.
I can feel it right at my fingertips like I’m writing it now.
Writing was the 1st thing I felt I was best at.
But all I want to write âRight’ is my wrongs.
Thank you
